About the Owner

Hi, I’m Alyssa — the baker and founder of Sugar Street Buns, a local bakery in Milford, NH serving up fresh cinnamon buns, coffee, and other delicious treats.

I was born and raised in sunny southwest Florida, where some of my happiest memories were made in the kitchen baking with my grandma. Those early days of mixing, rolling, and laughing together sparked a love for baking that never left me.

That passion eventually led me to Chicago, where I was classically trained in the art of baking at The French Pastry School. My time there, along with experience working in professional kitchens such as The Four Seasons, Orsay, and Norman Love Confections, gave me the skills and confidence to turn a lifelong dream into a reality.

Sugar Street Buns is a dream brought to life — a cozy little bakery dedicated to decadent and delicious cinnamon buns. Every bun is baked from scratch with care, whether it’s the classic OG or one of our rotating seasonal flavors. My goal has always been to create a place where people can slow down, treat themselves, and enjoy the simple comfort of something warm, soft, and sweet.

What started as a small idea has grown into a way to connect with the community, share joy through food, and make every day feel just a little more special.
